Eggstreme Farming Incubator Guide: Level 50 Requirements and What We Know

The Incubator in Eggstreme Farming: official description (hatches eggs into new animals), the level 50 gate confirmed in the launch build, demo-era differences, and every unanswered question.

The Incubator is Eggstreme Farming’s locked door at the end of the tech tree. Launch week confirmed what it is, what it costs to reach, and — honestly — how much is still unknown. This page is the verified summary; we’ll expand it the moment real hatching footage exists.

What’s confirmed

  • It’s real and in the release build. It sits in the market’s Furniture tab alongside the egg collector and water refill machine.
  • Its official description: “Equipment used to hatch eggs and turn them into new animals.” Read directly off the in-game card in launch footage.
  • It requires player level 50. The requirement is printed on the card; launch-week players read it out loud in disbelief (“Level 50. You’re now— do we recreate the animal that the egg is?”). For calibration, launch-day streams ended their first sessions around level 15–27.
  • It was absent from the demo, and demo-era UI showed a level 30 requirement where the release shows 50 — the gate was moved. Demo incubator information doesn’t apply to the release build.

What’s not confirmed (don’t trust anyone who claims otherwise)

QuestionStatus
Purchase priceTo be confirmed — demo-era UI hints don’t match the release
What hatching yieldsPresumably the egg’s species as a new animal; not observed
Hatching timeUnknown
Whether golden eggs hatch into something specialUnknown — the single most-asked incubator question
Whether hatched animals differ from market animalsUnknown
How many eggs it takes at onceUnknown

The honest read: nobody documented a working incubator in the launch window — level 50 is simply too far out for day-one footage. Anything you’ve read elsewhere about hatch rates or golden chickens is demo-era or invented.

How to actually reach level 50

Level 50 is a grind with a known shape. XP sources, best-first:

  1. Collect every egg — each pickup pays XP, and volume scales with your pens.
  2. Sweep every morning — cleaning XP is small per sweep but daily and guaranteed.
  3. Sell constantly — sales pay XP, so selling twice a day beats hoarding trays.
  4. Chase objectives — the task list pays steady XP (though late objectives can expire — don’t hoard them).
  5. Scale pens — XP sources all scale with production, so the fastest leveling plan is the best money plan: more birds, better licenses, automated pens.

Realistic pacing: launch players hit the mid-teens in a single long first session. Multiplier from there is steady — expect the incubator to be a many-hours goal, not a first-week one.

Why the incubator matters strategically

If hatching works the way the description implies, it changes two things:

  • Animal supply stops being market-priced. Animal prices already fluctuate between visits (documented on the best chickens page) — a self-supplying farm smooths that out completely.
  • Golden eggs become a lottery ticket with a jackpot. The community’s first incubator experiment, universally, will be hatching golden eggs. If goldens produce golden-laying birds (or anything special), the golden egg economy changes overnight.

Neither effect is confirmed. Both are why the incubator, not the goose row, is the endgame content people are actually waiting on.

Prep checklist for the level-50 push

  • Two+ fully automated pens (collector + water machine each) so leveling doesn’t drown you in chores.
  • Bank several days of income — the incubator’s price is unknown, and “arrive rich” is the only safe plan for an unpriced endgame item.
  • A golden tray with a stash in it, if you want to run the golden-hatching experiment first.
  • Every license you can afford — XP scales with production, and late species rows are the biggest multipliers on the board.
